30 years ago, three friends, who loved cats very much, founded the WCF in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Actually the WCF has clubs all over the world. Every year new clubs and further countries are added. For the future we wish to go on with the expanding and promoting of WCF. We hope to find more qualified people who are interested to work with us for the success and the progress of the WCF.
We want to remind all, on the occasion of our pearl anniversary in 2018, with the Pearl Jubilee Rings of the love for our furry friends and the fact, that cats love is the base for the work in the WCF.
There will be the possibility for member clubs of WCF to hold the Pearl-Master Ring with the title Pearl Master. Issued on Pearl Jubilee Shows cats get double points for these exhibitions for the Best Cat of WCF. The organizing club will receive an official Pearl Jubilee banner of the WCF and the title of Pearl Master may be awarded to the 2 best cats shown at the Pearl Jubilee ring.
In the Pearl Jubilee Rings may participate all cats that are present on the exhibition - regardless of gender, age and breed. Special emphasis should be placed in the awarding of the Pearl-Master to the nature of cats. We love lovely cats and “cuddlyness” and sweetness, so shall be considered in addition to standard evaluation by the judge. This way we want to show, that the base in the WCF is not only about competing ideas but especially for the love we feel for our cats and our cats for us.
